21 Savage Signs With Epic Records
21 Savage is no more independent.
The Atlanta rapper has revealed he’s signed a deal with L.A. Reid and Epic Records.
This was disclosed during an interview on the Rap Radar podcast, where he explained his decision.
“I ain’t wanna just sign on some straight business shit. I wanna sign to someone who believes in me and understands me,” said the highly-coveted rapper.
He also revealed that it wasn’t just about the money, but about the legacy that Reid has.
“Because he’s black. He’s probably the last black CEO. Why not? He’ll understand me before anyone else.”
He joins an already loaded roster that includes Big Boi, Future, DJ Khaled, Rick Ross, Yo Gotti, Travis Scott as well as new artists Divine Council and Nick Grant.
