Bill Murray, Idris Elba and more voice their ‘Jungle Book’ animal characters
Disney has shared behind-the-scenes footage of the cast of its upcoming remake of The Jungle Book recording dialogue for their roles.
The film studio is set to release a live-action version of the 1967 animated classic, which is based on Rudyard Kipling’s children’s book, next week.
The latest film adaption of Kipling’s tale will feature only one human cast member, Neel Sethi, who plays Mowgli. The rest of the characters are real life animals voiced by a number of famous actors.
Idris Elba voices tiger Shere Khan, while Scarlett Johnson offers her sultry tones as python Kaa. Ben Kingsley plays panther Bagheera, with BIll Murray voicing bear Baloo.
Favreau kick-started the Marvel Cinematic Universe by directing the first Iron Man film.
The Jungle Book is released on April 15 in both the UK and the US.
