Drake Becomes Most Streamed Artist on Spotify

Drake has dethroned Justin Bieber as Spotify’s most streamed artist of all time.

According to Billboard, Drizzy has reportedly been streamed 3,185,045,281 times on Spotify, compared to Bieber’s 3,175,636,461. Rounding out the top 3 is British crooner Ed Sheeran with a total of 2,153,988,755 streams.

Drake’s Views has also earned him the top slot on the Billboard 200 albums chart for two weeks straight. And that was without the album being available on Spotify or TIDAL, a move that finally happened on Friday (May 13). That shift will likely also impact next week’s chart results.

The album has also given Drake another major milestone: his first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. “One Dance,” a single that features Kyla and Wizkid, helped Drizzy obtain that honor recently, though it has since been dethroned by Justin Timberlake’s “CAN’T STOP THE FEELING!”

Drake has also been doing TV tour, stopping by “The Tonight Show,” “SNL,” and “Ellen” within the last week.
