Drake & Meek Mill Squash Beef Live On-Stage

Drake and Meek Mill are burying the hatchet three years after their epic rap battle dominated social media.

The Canadian rapper brought out Meek Mill during his Aubrey and the Three Migos Tour stop in Boston Saturday. Meek performed his 2012 hit “Dreams and Nightmares” and the two shook hands in front of thousands of fans, officially squashing their ongoing beef.

Drake, 31, took to Instagram to document the onstage reunion: “This really gave me peace of mind tonight. Healing and moving forward created one of the most electric and gratifying moments of my career.”

He: “@meekmill I’m happy that you are home and that we could find our way back to our joint purpose 🙏🏽🙌🏽 (Cue the Kevin Garnett “anything is possible” adlib).”

The Philadelphia-bred emcee, 31, also reflected on the historic moment on his social media account, saying “WE BOTH HAPPY AS (expletive)!” In fact, the two rappers were so happy they even shared a game of ping-pong after the show.

Drake and Meek Mill started their famous feud in 2015 after Meek (who was dating Nicki Minaj at the time) alleged Drake didn’t write his own lyrics.

Drake fired back with not one, but two diss tracks (one of which was nominated for a Grammy! Ouch). Meek responded with a couple songs of his own aimed at the “Degrassi” alum, and what seemed like a never-ending rap beef ensued.

Until now. That all appears to be water under the bridge.

Drake’s reconciliation with Meek comes after the “In My Feelings” rapper ended bad blood with Chris Brown and received an apology from Kanye West. (Is a truce with Pusha T next?)

Let’s see if the rest of the hip-hop industry will follow suit. Just this past week, Cardi B and Nicki Minaj got into a fight at New York Fashion Week, while Machine Gun Kelly and Eminem exchanged jabs in new music.
