Drake Releases ‘More Life’ Project
Drake is back with “More Life”. The 6 God took over the OVOSOUND Radio airwaves on Saturday (March 18) to debut the long-awaited project.
The 22-track project arrives in the form of a playlist curated by October Firm, comprised of Drake and his manager Oliver El-Khatib. The guest list includes Kanye West, 2 Chainz, Travis Scott, Quavo, Young Thug, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Giggs, Skepta, Sampha, and more. While Jennifer Lopez does not appear, Drake samples his rumored ex’s On the 6 single “If You Had My Love” on “Teenage Fever.”
More Life follows the highly successful Views, but Drake does not consider it an album, describing it simply as an “evolution of the mixtape.”
“It was getting tough to be like, ‘I’m dropping a mixtape but it’s for sale on iTunes.’ It was like, ‘Oh, that’s your album.’ I didn’t want people to say this is my next album,” he said. “Views was my album. This is something that, after Views, I was just inspired. I wanted to keep the music flowing.”
