G-Eazy Arrested For Cocaine Possession & Assault In Sweden; Pleads Guilty
Earlier this week, G-Eazy (born Gerald Earl Gillum) was arrested in Stockholm, Sweden on suspicion of assault and possession of narcotics, as reported by TMZ.
The rapper was allegedly detained by police after getting into a fight with security guards; the police then allegedly found bags of cocaine on his person. Now, a new report from Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet reveals that G-Eazy has pled guilty to charges of “assaulting an officer, violent resistance, and illegal drug possession.”
According to the Blast, a lawyer for G-Eazy says he was “convicted” on those charges but will not face any jail time and is set to leave Sweden later today.
G-Eazy’s next tour date is scheduled for May 6 at TAP1 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
