Snoop Dogg releases autobiographical COOLAID: The Movie

Snoop Dogg has released an autobiographical film, which follows the rapper’s life from drugs and gangs to music stardom.

The hip-hop star’s film COOLAID: The Movie depicts Snoop Dogg’s young dreams of becoming a football player before his involvement with the notorious Crips gang and his infamous murder trial.

“Coolaid movie out now on itunes,” Snoop wrote on Facebook.

“Directed written n produced by bigg snoop !! [sic]”

The movie also works as a visual companion to Snoop’s record, also titled COOLAID.

“This is a piece that is near and dear to me – it’s a personal journey of my life,” Snoop Dogg said when announcing the film.

“The videos, dialogue and music were hand-selected to depict pivotal moments in my career and look forward to sharing it with my fans. Can’t wait to hear what ya’ll think!”

The film can now be streamed on iTunes.
