Tekashi 69 Denied Bail; Twitter Celebrates!

The Pop superstar Tekashi 69 has learned that he may spend the rest of his days behind bars following his headline making arrest earlier this week.

Now, as the tears of his fans flow into a sea of confusion, he has been struck with more bad news.

69 was arrested by federal ATF and Homeland Security agents on six counts on Sunday evening and was informed that he would spend 32 years in prison if convicted.

Yesterday his supporters were stunned when it was announced that he would be forced to live among his prison’s general population despite the reputation it has developed for being extremely dangerous.

As if that wasn’t enough to raise their collective blood pressure, today has brought with it news that a judge has rejected his bail request and scoffed at his attempts to hand over the $1.7 million he has in his bank account in exchange for his freedom.

Why? The court’s belief that freeing him would endanger the lives of innocent men, women and children.

As alleged in the indictment, this gang, which included platinum-selling rap artist Tekashi 6ix9ine, wreaked havoc on New York City, engaging in brazen acts of violence. Showing reckless indifference to others’ safety, members of the gang were allegedly involved in robberies and shootings, including a shooting inside the crowded Barclay’s Center, and a shooting in which an innocent bystander was hit. Thanks to the extraordinary work of HSI, ATF, and the NYPD, the defendants will now face justice in federal court.
