Following their initial report, TMZ added more information regarding what went down. According to a statement from Rogers Police Department, Scott “encouraged” fans in the back of the venue to get closer to the stage and bypass normal security protocols, which resulted in a hanful of injuries, two of which were a security guard and a cop.

A source close to Scott said the rapper asked fans to get closer as he saw extra space upfront for general admission attendees, and had no intention of anyone getting injured.
