Nicki Minaj – Queen

Yasss Queen!

Queen is the upcoming fourth studio album by American rapper Nicki Minaj. Originally scheduled to be released on June 15, 2018, the release date was pushed back to August 10. And that’s next week!!! It is Minaj’s first album in four years, following The Pinkprint which was released in 2014. The album is expected to feature production by J. Reid, Big Juice, Supa Dups, Beats Bailey, Messy and Ben Billions.

The album’s lead single, “Chun-Li”, was released on April 12, 2018, alongside the single “Barbie Tingz”. The second single, “Bed”, featuring American singer Ariana Grande, was released on June 14, 2018, alongside the album pre-order. A promotional single, “Rich Sex”, featuring American rapper Lil Wayne, was released on June 11.

Whatever Minaj ends up delivering for the final product, expect both the Barbs and the haters to be in the mix when it drops.

Ariana Grande – Sweetener

Sweetener is the upcoming fourth studio album by American singer Ariana Grande. It is expected to be released on August 17, 2018, through Republic Records. Sweetener is the follow-up to her third studio album Dangerous Woman, released in 2016 and it features guest appearances from Pharrell Williams, Nicki Minaj and Missy Elliott.

The lead single, “No Tears Left to Cry”, was released on April 20, 2018, and debuted at number three on the US Billboard Hot 100. “The Light Is Coming”, featuring Nicki Minaj, was released as a promotional single on June 20, 2018, along with the pre-order of the album. “God Is a Woman” was released as the second single on July 13, 2018, which currently occupies at the 11th spot on the Billboard Hot 100.

Lil Wayne –Tha Carter V

Now that Lil Wayne is free of his deal with Universal and Cash Money, his fans are hungrier than ever to get their hands on Tha Carter V, even going so far as to start hoaxes around its promotion (as seen in the image above).

But the likelihood of a new project this year is strong, even with Wayne teasing the release of the project at concerts and during interviews for years.

Wayne has given fans a taste of new material with his most recent releases Dedication 6 and Dedication 6: Reloaded, but sticking the landing on one of the most important albums of his career could help his case for being the GOAT.

Trav had always alluded to Astroworld since the end of 2016, and from our findings, it’s the name of an amusement park in Houston where he used to go as a child but sadly closed down in 2005.

Although he never confirmed the news, multiple sources have it that Astroworld album is slated for a 2018 release, but now it looks like we have an exact date confirmation courtesy of producer, Mike Dean. Taking to Twitter, Dean revealed that we can expect Travis Scott’s gift much sooner than anticipated — August 3rd.

More info on Astroworld? Scott revealed this album will be “a little weirder” and said, “The one thing I’ve done on this album is rapped more than I ever have. I want people to get to know Jacques, you know what I’m saying?”

Iggy Azalea – Survive the Summer

Oh Iggy!

We’ve anticipated new materials from Iggy since 2014 but on 7 November 2017, Azalea stated that she isn’t allowed to release music until January 2018, as she signed with a new label. She additionally announced the new title of her second album, Surviving the Summer, thereafter, announcing the title of the lead single from Surviving the Summer, “Savior” featuring Quavo, which was released on 2 February 2018.

On 5 July, Azalea released two tracks from the EP: “Tokyo Snow Trip” and “Kream”, the latter featuring Tyga. Surviving The Summer will be released on 3 August 2018 and we can’t wait!
