After calling for a “Revolution” in his last video, Snoop Dogg parodies the rap game in “Moment I Feared,” the latest clip promoting his newest album, Neva Left.
The tongue-in-cheek visual starts with an interview between Snoop Dogg and Rick Rock on “GGN,” which finds them talking about the state of the rap game. “It’s a young man’s game,” says Tha Doggfather. “I commend the young homies for doing they thing. They different. They look different. They rap different, but that’s what hip-hop is. It’s meant to be different.”
However, after a weather report, the video introduces a character named Fonz D-Low, who wears tight clothing, a pink purse, and red dreadlocks, much like Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Yachty, and Young Thug. During the clip, Fonz also wears high heels and a dress, a not-so-subtle reference to Thugger’s eye-catching Jeffery cover art.
