Was Kanye West’s nervous breakdown triggered by the anniversary of his mother’s death?
Kanye West’s breakdown could have been caused by the anniversary of his mother’s death, a new report claims.
The “Famous” rapper, who was hospitalized last week for exhaustion, apparently never fully moved past the Nov. 10, 2007 death of his mother, Donda, sources tell TMZ.
The cancellation of West’s Nov. 20 show at the L.A. Forum marked the anniversary of her funeral. The next day, the rapper called off the rest of his Saint Pablo Tour before being rushed to the hospital for behaving “erratically.” He was examined for severe sleep deprivation but insiders claim West is suffering a nervous breakdown.
It’s been a troubling few months for West, juggling the aftermath of wife Kim Kardashian’s traumatic Paris robbery with a rigorous touring schedule and fashion brand.
It proved to be a time where the hitmaker was in need of his mother only to have to come to terms with the fact she has been gone for almost a decade.
Donda West died in 2007 of complications from a series of common plastic surgery procedures including liposuction, a tummy tuck and breast reduction.
