Cardi B may be enjoying her second week atop the Billboard Hot 100 with her latest hit, the Megan Thee Stallion-assisted ‘WAP’, but the GRAMMY winner is already eyeing what’s next.
The controversial chart-topper – which acts as the first single from B’s yet-titled sophomore album – shows no signs of slowing its dominance on the tally, but if the rapper gets her way it will soon be joined atop the hitlist by its follow-up.
As revealed in the interview above with Angie Martinez, Cardi B fans (affectionately called #BardiGang) will have to wait a little longer than expected for the successor to her top-selling debut album, 2018’s ‘Invasion of Privacy.’
Though failing to specify a tentative release date window for the tune or its parent project, B did confirm the new single – the follow-up to ‘WAP’ – would precede the forthcoming LP’s release.
Elsewhere in the interview, Cardi shared her excitement about going number one again, how her relationship with Megan Thee Stallion came to be, touched on feeling like the internet took her voice, and even detailed the type of content she plans to post on OnlyFans.
