As Terrence Howard celebrates that final season premiere on his hit show “Empire,” he also received his very own star on the legendary Hollywood Walk of Fame.
According to NBC Los Angles, Terrence’s star was the 2,674th star to grace the walk of Fame since it’s completion back in 1961.
Directors Malcolm D. Lee and Dito Montiel joined Terrence for the special ceremony as he was honored for all of his legendary work throughout the years.
According to Variety, Terrence reflected on this honor and said, “To have my name on the sidewalk where people will make their way in hopes of one day having some recognition, it’s humbling, because people will stand on your star and get a feel for who you are, you know, and try and put themselves in your shoes.”
Earlier this month, Terrence Howard caught everyone by surprise when he revealed that he would be done with acting once the final season of “Empire,” comes to an end.
During an interview with Extra, he was asked about where he saw his career moving once the show was over, and he responded, “I’m done with acting. I’m done pretending.” He continued to state that he would focus on bringing the truth to the world.
Nonetheless, his work throughout the years exemplifies his greatness as an actor, proving why he is deserving of his star.
Congrats to Terrence Howard on receiving his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
